Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
He's 20/12/2.2/1k+. His fold to steal is 80% (45 instances), and he only steals about 22%. We have no history.
I'm running 26/26 over 20, stealing at most opportunities, but not yet HU against this guy. Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
the 2.2 AF makes me think he wouldn't raise with KJ or QJ or JT when you lead into him on the flop...
Flush possibility is strong... Does he have any history of playing suited connectors? 65s? 54s? That's a lot of strength from a 2.2 AF so I would muck. If the AF were 4+ I might look him up, suspecting a lower jack. |

Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
i like how u played it, i think if he has spades hes checking behind the turn most of the time, im not really sure what to make of the small turn bet but i think calling down is reasonable - calling turn to fold river is prob bad oop so i guess im saying the decision is really on the turn. I think his range is decently polarized in between a 5 and pure air and then an occasional worse/same jack.

Re: Party 600 - blind battle, tptk calling dowwwwwn
You have a bluffcatcher and I don't think he's going to have air here nearly enough to make calling good. I think it's definitely okay to call the turn against this type of player though, as he could be semibluffing or valuebetting worse or just getting out of line (it is bvb).

um..thats not a great river for u'r bluff catcher.
now u have to hope that it is pure air like around 26% or so of the time...pretty shotty. |

the way u played it fold, [/ QUOTE ] The way he played it suggests a call. Other things might suggest a fold, idk... I'd still look him up a decent amount tho. |

I'd call. Even TAGs love to get tricky on paired boards in blind battles.

I'd fold. He's checking down a jack here. He's got the flush or 65 I'd say.

I'd prob call plenty of rivers, depending on bet sizing, but not that one. It's an annoying hand but this line may well be the best.
