NL200 - C/r TPTK against LAG and unknown shoves
NL200 6-handed
Villain and I have $200, Unknown has $125 (bought in for $100). Villain is terrible and originally bought in for $40 and busted HU vs. me with AJ vs my JJ AIPF, then doubled up his $40 rebuy when he shoved with A2 vs my QT on a 35T board and slammed an Ace. He plays every pot and bets pot whenever checked to. Unknown is..unknown though I haven't seen him raise a pot in two orbits yet. Villain limps, 1 fold, Unknown limps, Button limps, Hero completes with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], BB checks. Flop J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, BB checks, Villain bets $6, Unknown calls, Button folds, Hero raises to $22, Villain calls, Unknown shoves for $101... Anyone generous enough to think it's AJ/KJ enough to call here? I'm guessing probably not..? |

raise pf. i would also lead the flop, i don't like c/r-ing a whole lot.

[/ QUOTE ] I would usually raise pf but I don't like doing so with a hand like this when I feel I KNOW I'm getting called in at least 2 spots and I'm OOP the entire hand. If Villain wasn't in the pot I just lead this the far majority of the time, is it greedy to go for the c/r when I'm sure he bets when checked to 99% of the time? |

[/ QUOTE ] This is an argument for completing with 66-99. Not an argument for completing with AJs. We're raising to get money in the pot, and when we hit TP we can proceed to put a lot of money in the pot without having to play many guessing games. |
