What to do with bottom two?
Hey, all. I've been a limit player for the last few years, and am trying to expand my game by learning a little no limit. If this hand seems way too easy to discuss (and I feel it probably is), that's why.
Here is a good example of a hand where I feel lost right now. I flop a good but vulnerable hand OOP, bet out, and get raised. What should my plan be for the rest of the hand? Do I want to go to war right now with bottom two? If I call, what is my plan for the rest of the hand? Button in this hand had only been at this table for a couple of orbits. Was about 30/5/2, and had not done anything untoward to get my attention. Any help appreciated. Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 10 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG+2: $28.06 MP2: $6.59 Button: $28.25 Hero: $24.65 Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, 2 folds, Button calls, SB folds, Hero checks. Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($1.1, 4 players) Hero bets $1, 2 folds, Button raises to $3... |

Re: What to do with bottom two?
Raise, villain likely has a pair of tens or a draw here. I'd make it 10-12 and c/r a safe turn.

Re: What to do with bottom two?
Pot it. Be happy to put your stack in here b/c most of the time it is someone overplaying A10 or K10 or maybe even JJ if they are silly, and if you lose you hit the rebuy button.
