NL50, QQ in 3bet pot.... the usual
After all these years I still have no clue how to confidently lay down Queens without being weaktight.
Villain was loose, relatively aggressive but didnt do much preflop raising. Re: NL50, QQ in 3bet pot.... the usual
I reraise pre flop
Then I fold to another raise. As played I reraise the flop every time. Also I'm not concerned about the king, so I lead out the turn, or CR turn. I think that makes it a bit easier to play. |

I don't understand folding the flop?

Re: NL50, QQ in 3bet pot.... the usual
Sorry, maybe my description of villain wasnt so clear. He really didnt raise much preflop. In half an hour maybe one or two hands. I hadnt seen him 3bet at all.
Once he 3bets I range him somwhere around TT+, AQ+ |

Ah right ok. I stil RR pf, and fold to any more raising. That sort of hand is generally easier to play pf imo

If you don't 4bet pre-flop then check/raising the flop is better than leading.

Re: NL50, QQ in 3bet pot.... the usual
If Villain's preflop range is really AQ+, TT+, then you're going to be ahead about 2/3 of the time on that flop.
But that changes, of course, once he flop raises you, and, to be honest, I basically just think it's really hard to know what to do with your QQ versus a seemingly passive preflop player who is 3-betting for the first time in ~50 hands. |

Re: NL50, QQ in 3bet pot.... the usual
I b/f the flop...most villains at 50nl are just too straightforward thus they donīt make moves in 3bet pots.

Well, okay. Lots of different views but it seems like its very close either way. Makes me feel less of a donk now.

Re: NL50, QQ in 3bet pot.... the usual
Honestly it really depends on villain. Against an unknown like I said my default is to call down. Against an aggro reg Im c/r this flop and getting it in anyway I can.
