$16 3 handed vbet riv?
Hey. Opponent is the bad kind of lag. After he checks turn and riv is pretty safe I figure vbet is good. When he minraises I'm not ahead of much but pot is so big, can I fold?

Re: $16 3 handed vbet riv?
I don't like the river bet, you don't have nearly a good enough hand to try and extract additional value and you have great showdown value for checking.
As for what to do when he raises, I don't see anything at all that you are beating unless he just has air. I fold and expect it to be a flush or hand better than a pair (probably rivered) very often. |

Re: $16 3 handed vbet riv?
If you want extra value you should be looking for it on the turn, but I don't think it's worth it. I may call a bet on the river but I wouldn't bet for value.
As played I fold to the min-raise, donk-lags bluff big but value bet small. |

deffo check the river. Your bet is not a value bet but a bluff, and a pretty dumb one.
