Changing my sleep pattern
Currently I go to sleep at about 6amish and wake up around 3pm, this is perfect for poker since peak time starts around 7pm and finishes sometime in the morning, but there are many disadvantages and since I will probably be taking on a part-time jay oh bee soon (yea im crazy) it needs to change to something more 'normal'.
So I'm enlisting the help of OOT, help me cure my nocturnal ways, whats the easiest way to make the transition to ideally a 12am-10am (obv waking up earlier on days I work) pattern? Anyone had much experience doing this? |

wtf. go to bed earlier [/ QUOTE ] Doesn't work. If you're a 9-5er, have you ever tried going to sleep at 6pm? You end up lying in bed staring at the ceiling for hours. |

Re: Changing my sleep pattern
skip a nights sleep, then go to bed at desired hour. sleep longer than you want to normally but you'll still be tired the next night at midnight or whenever.

like 90% of changes, just ease your way into it.

Re: Changing my sleep pattern
Spend a lot of time outside in the sun. It helps you normalize your sleep schedule. Best way I've found to recover b/n time zones.

Re: Changing my sleep pattern
Skip sleep one night, go to bed at the appropriate time the next night.
