Re: He doesn\'t have it
This works enough for me to try same every now and again. Most 2/4's dont want to proceed with the T here. If he does, at least you'll probably get a free river

12/6? wow.. [/ QUOTE ] It's only after 20 hands. I think presuming he's average 2/4 is more profitable |

Dont like this at all w/o reads [/ QUOTE ] But he doesn't have a 6, and probably has a lot of trouble continuing without a T. If he's tight, he should fold a lot. My only realy worry is JJ. |

Re: He doesn\'t have it
He might have any overpair, u can never know with these guys.
I mean obv a T is his most likely hand, but I don't like the idea of investing this much when you're so unsure of how he plays. Also, did he instaraise or did he take some time? |

Re: He doesn\'t have it
i don't like w/o reads, and I don't see why he can't have a 6 when you have "no reads"... people defend way too much, A6 is a definate possibility even from a tight player.

[/ QUOTE ] I'd just fold. I'd rather call than raise. I'd rather call if the board was two tone. I'd rather call if we were 125BB deep. These C/R top pair/mid pair on xxy types check the turn the vast majority of the time if they are called on the flop, so you can fire any turn you want. (1 large barrel on A turn, 2 incl smallish turn bet if turn bricks) I'm almost positive this is more +EV than raising the flop. What I'd be interested in is whether or not its more +EV if both the turn and river brick and you fire both streets. My hunch is that he calls turn a bit too much to make the turn bet +EV in isolation, but folds riv a huge % of the time, making the line +++EV given the now dead turn money. Anyway, he makes that raise for info with a T/mid pair so anything but a fold scares the sh*t out of him. If he's bluffing the flop your call is vv strong, so he should be done with the hand. If he has a 6 he'll lead the turn and you can muck, saving 210 or whatever. |

Re: He doesn\'t have it
yea true, I still think bluffing these sorta flops vs tight/random players is not a good idea, I don't think hes going to bluffing often enough for it to be profitable
