i go back to my card club determined to get some live stud8 under my belt. but 3 tables are running of 5-200 spread limit, so i figure, whatever.

now, i am an incredibly bitter online player. i'm perpetually frustrated even when i cash. just bad [censored]. but i'm good at it so i keep plugging away.

i play live cuz it's pretty much the antidote. nevermind whether or not the play is softer (it is), i have fun, and a lot of it playing live. i'm very social at the table, cracking jokes, loosening people up, every so often i buy rounds for the table. playing live calms my soul.

today started out about the same as every other experience. i sit down, talk to the table, we're all laughing/having fun by the end of the first hour.

another player sits in just as i'm about to decide whether to call a $100 all in by a coinflip. the table knows i have 42o so i ask the table for a coin. one is presented to me and i flip it (heads, i call, up against 55, i lose)

but the new kid doesn't approve, saying (despite the fact that nobody at the table minded at all and were enjoying my shenanigans) that my circus acts have no place at a poker table and that i should cease immediately. i tell him 3 other 5-200 spread limit tables have open seats (cuz everyone's changing tables to come to mine at this point), so why don't you just go to one of them, cuz i'm not stopping.

he says nothing, but my buzz is killed.

under 10 minutes later i have AA and watch him bet max til he's all in pf and show TT. pot is 700. he rivers a T. he immediately jumps up and screams out "BOOYAH!"

.......ok.

i still have 600 in front of me, whatever.

very next hand, KK, same [censored], AIPF, he shows AK and turns the A. lets out another "BOOYAH!" and cashes out immediately. lol live hit-n-runners.

i play for another 15 minutes but am just too tilted to care anymore, so i get up and decide to take the last 400 i have and go play blackjack.

now the blackjack system here is gay. 9 spots so multiple people can bet on an individual's hand with betting at $100 max/spot. i'm in the anchor position (far left at the table) and i put all 400 on 4 of the 9 spots. someone comes up from behind me and bets 400 on 4 of the remaining 9 spots, and $10 (the min bet) on the 9th spot giving them a total of $410 at stake.

i turn around and see the douchebag from the table.

i shrug it off and am dealt an 18 with the dealer holding 6.

now, even though there are 2 of us with money on the line on the same hand, only one of us can hit/stand. what i didn't realize is that it's the person who bets more on the hand who gets that right. i bet 400, he bet 410, he gets to choose. and, in spite of my objections and the objections of those at the table, he hits. i call the floor and say this is absurd, why should he be allowed to sabotage me just cuz he has $10 more than i do? floor says rules are rules and i have to take another card. i threaten to take my bet off the table, they threaten to have me arrested. i put my head in my hands as the dealer peels off a 10 to give me a 28.

dealer shows 16, dealer gets a T, dealer busts.

douchebag leaves with, and i'm not kidding, a "BOOYAH!"

i'm sitting motionless at the table with everyone not understanding what just happened and resolved that i'm gonna beat the [censored] outta this guy. funny thing, now i can't find him. i fume some more and go to my car to go home.

tire slashed, window broken. center console (which had nothing inside it but a stapler) was removed from the car and stolen.

i'm now on my 4th adios mother[censored] and decided that 1 of 3 things can happen.

1. i become happy drunk
2. i become unreasonably angry drunk
3. i pass out and sleep til 4 pm

tl;dr cliff notes: douchebag hit n runs me out of 1200 then sabatoges my blackjack hand to cost me another 400. btys left to mull the pluses/minuses of ending a life.

that sucks man. i got into a car accident with a group of young college [censored] freshmen driving home from casino. they sped and ran a red light and i clipped the end of their navigator and they blamed me and said i ran a red. I WAS STOPPED AT THE INTERSECTION AT A RED, then my light turned green. Mothkflaflfufk i almost went on tilt but spoke the the cop calmly. My insurance won't cover so im in the hole 4g's.
