Kinda simple Preflop spot v Tmay in 109r
Tmay is pretty aggro, but not crazy, and i doubt hes opening to light UTG with his stack, he prolly views me as aggro and decent.
So 3bet/call? Flat? Fold? (i hope not!) asked two very respected donkamenters and they said 2 different things. Re: Kinda simple Preflop spot v Tmay in 109r
OOPS MISREAD HAND!
Anyway depends on his opening range, but probably very close. If he's opening at or looser than: 77+,ATs+,AJo+,KQs, pushing will probably be +CeV. I dunno I'd say he opens looser. In my original response I misread stack sizes, thought we about 18000 effective in which case its a completely obvious allin. Its still probably a +EV allin, but not nearly as gigantic. |

Re: Kinda simple Preflop spot v Tmay in 109r
calling seems best to me vs tmay but he prob would give my repect more flat then yours and cbet less frequent so as you flat and shover over cbet on like 60% of boards.

[/ QUOTE ] All are reasonable options, all are fairly marginal in terms of cEV (except folding, which is exactly marginal). Tmay has been fairly tight the 2 times I've played with him live, maybe he was just card dead. In the absence of any other info, I'd be inclined to gamble here and 3bet/call to take a stab at having the most chips at the table. |

Re: Kinda simple Preflop spot v Tmay in 109r
Why is 3betting better than calling? so he can play perfectly against us?

Re: Kinda simple Preflop spot v Tmay in 109r
I don't like calling either. Too large a % of our stack. Also wtf is with this raising to 9000 [censored]? I would never consider anything other than allin if I was planning on raising any hand here. (I hope I'm reading stack sizes correctly and that the ones after me have same as UTG). |
