zinc/copper question
I have taken zinc on and off for years and just wonder if I should start taking zinc/copper together? zinc alone pill is usually 50 mg pill, and copper standalone pill is 2 mg I think at health food store.

Re: zinc/copper question
searched on internet and found zinc/copper combo supplement in 5:1 to 15:1 range.
I figure women would be more at 5:1 range and men more at 15:1 range since men need zinc more. |

Re: zinc/copper question
[ QUOTE ]
When you deficiency is corrected then you have to realize that extra zinc will chelate manganese and copper. These minerals will need to be supplemented too, at some point. [/ QUOTE ] from internet search some message board. teas are high in manganese though so if you drink green tea as recommended here in health 2+2 forum then you are good. |

Re: zinc/copper question
That's a lot of extra zinc. If you have a normal diet i don't think you need to take anywhere near that much. Probably I would just take a good multivitamin and that's it.
