Re: TPTK in RR pot against a LAG
I'd bet the turn for value, as played I call.

Re: TPTK in RR pot against a LAG
Turn check looks ok against this guy to induce on the river, definitely call as played.

I'd bet the turn for value, as played I call. [/ QUOTE ] Betting the turn for value seems good, but I'd rather do it in a non-reraised pot |

Re: TPTK in RR pot against a LAG
I think checking behind the turn for pot control is fine here.
I would call the river because you have shown weakness by checking behind and villain has a high enough AF. I would think if he had a monster he would have raised/bet at some point most of the time, and I don't really believe he has a flush/4 often. |

Re: TPTK in RR pot against a LAG
ok, thanks everyone. I actually timed out because I thought I had hit the time button, but I did not. So I folded.
About 2 orbits later, this hand happened against him. Pretty standard for me though Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 4 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter Hero (SB): $190.65 BB: $206.15 UTG: $447.65 BTN: $584.95 Pre-Flop: A A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) UTG raises to $7, BTN calls $7, Hero raises to $32, BB folds, UTG calls $25, BTN folds Flop: ($73) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 (2 Players) Hero bets $50, UTG raises to $415.65 and is All-In, Hero calls $108.65 and is All-In Turn: ($390.30) T (2 Players - 1 is All-In) River: ($390.30) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In) Results: $390.30 Pot ($2 Rake) Hero showed A A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$190.65 NET) UTG showed T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Tens) and WON $388.30 (+$197.65 NET) |

Re: TPTK in RR pot against a LAG
id bet the turn again in hand 1 but checking is fine if you snap off this river bet, this is the type of player whose bluff frequency is going to be incredibly high in this spot, and i wouldnt hesitate to call.
hand 2 standard. |

Re: TPTK in RR pot against a LAG
For those who say bet the turn, you realize we have $140 left?
BTW I wonder what people do if villain shoves or overbets on the river instead of betting 75. |
