What non-holdem games in AC for a pro?
AC is probably the closest casino to me, and with all these 1/2NL pro threads, I was wondering if a non-holdem pro make a living in AC? What games would I have to know how to play, and what limits do these games usually run at? Let's say at stakes under 100/200.
I'm specifically curious about Stud8 and Omaha8. |

Borgata runs a 10/20 O8/Stud8, Taj runs a 15/30/45 O8/Stud8. Last I checked both ran every day. Unless a tourney is in town thats typically it.
Your best bet is to learn hold'em. |

Re: What non-holdem games in AC for a pro?
I agree, when I was in AC 6 months ago I was a little disappointed to find out that there were hardly no hi/lo-games at all. The place to look is Borgata though, in Taj they have this Omaha8/Stud8 mix game, but the level is not high enough for a pro. Stud hi is the only non-hold'em there is, period.

Barbarian,
Borg gets a large Omaha8 game almost every weekend (not sure midweek). Lately, it's been 100-200 with a half kill. The only qualifier for the kill is a scoop (no dollar amount) and the game seems to play very large. Jeff |

That's nice, didn't see it when I was there, either I missed it or it's new. There were a lot of interst lists at Borgata for PLO, LO8, mixed games (stud8/LO8) and even stud, it looked promising, but always when you came back an hour later it was still just lists...

Borg has 75-150 stud and 20-40 stud. Taj has 20-40 and 40-80 stud. All good games.
