Default Polltarding: Help me settle fight with GF

My girlfriend and I are locked in bitter strife over a very stupid and silly issue.

I will describe the two positions, each of which is held adamantly by one of us.

The issue in question is in regards to the proper way to play miniture golf (putt-putt, goofy golf, etc.). It has to do with the order in which players take their shots.

In the following example there will be three people playing, call them players A, B, and C.

Way Number 1:

Each player takes their strokes in rotation

(player A hits once, player B hits once, player C hits once, player A hits once, player B hits once, player C hits once, etc.)

Way Number 2:

Each player plays the hole through to completion

(player A hits until his ball goes in, player B hits until his ball goes in, player C hits until his ball goes in)

Which of the following is correct or the best way to play?

This is correct, although not identical to how he describes A.

LOL, on a little two foot wide, six foot long fairway with a 4x4 green at the end you've got four balls getting in each other's way? That's dumb. What do you do on the holes where you have to hit it into a hole to make it come out the other side and a ball gets stuck in front of the hole?

Second this. The only way this should be considered is if you are playing with someone with no arms, and you will be there for 13 days, rotating this way will allow the people with arms to play the same hole a few times while no arms is struggling with a golf club hanging out of his mouth.
