$27 - Another AK - Early, reraise or call?
2nd hand, not sure what to do here... I called, and folded flop. Good or no?

Re: $27 - Another AK - Early, reraise or call?
An explanation for the JJ hand. Not really sure why anyone would shove here, but thats beside the point. This guy certainly isnt doing this with QQ, KK or AA. I would say he has any pocket pair here, or an ace of some form. I am a pretty big favorite vs that field. I think I like this call. What do you guys think?

[/ QUOTE ] yeah, and El Oso's point about your stack (even though relative to blinds healthy) is valid that this could be a huge opportunity. |

What do you guys think? [/ QUOTE ] Actually its one of my favorite ways to get AA or KK paid off these days. Works even better if you open push UTG in level one. I'd honestly consider folding JJ here. not because I'm sure I'm beat, but because its just not worth fighting over the 75 chips that are in the pot with my stack size. If you really put them on any pair, any ace (I included KQ as well) you're a 2:1 favorite and its a clear call. If you put them on ~10% here (TT+,KQ+,AT+) then its 54% - 46% your favor. Still a large edge, but one I'm going to pass on given stack sizes and assuming i've got a (real or perceived) edge over the rest of the field. |

Re: $27 - Another AK - Early, reraise or call?
IS the first time he's done this?
I hate these spots...I probably call, I see 44 and the like too often here. |

Re: $27 - Another AK - Early, reraise or call?
I call with JJ in that spot every time. It could be a steal, but as the smallest stack I gladly call with JJ. If you had a bigger stack like his I would consider folding. But being the smallest stack you are going to have to go for it sometime and I don't think you should wait for a better hand than JJ.

Looks good I don't like reraising oop so this is fine.
