AA fold?
hero just got at table. opening villan is loose and is on alot of my tables. other guy (BTN) no idea.
200nl 6max. effective $200. no real reads. PF: MP opens $7, I call with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in CO, BTN calls $6. all others fold. ($23) Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] MP bets $20, i raise to $67, BTN shoves AI ($193), MP calls $193, I have to call $120 in like a huge pot. eh? i would put MP on an overpair a ton, BTN i have no clue. maybe a 7? sometimes a fd? easy dump given action? |

Re: AA fold?
why aren't you reraising preflop ? if opening villain is loose aren't you giving him a cheap look at the flop to crush your AA's
then you are giving the guy on the button a chance to limp with hands like 78,67 .... it is really hard to put the btn on a hand .. FD or maybe an over pair .. as played fold |

Re: AA fold?

Re: AA fold?
I pokerstoved MP having KK and btn having a 7 and ur like 12% equity, so I guess weigh that against how often you think your good here if u want to get mathy about it .
(lol, at me doing ev calcs) |

Re: AA fold?
I don't think BTN has a draw often given flop and the fact that you have the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I think you're facing an overpair + 7x or 2 overpairs. WA/WB scenario - 120 to win 476; I think you're facing 2 overpairs at least 1 in every 4 times this scenario occurs. I would call.

Re: AA fold?
Stoved it:
Board: 7s 3s 7h Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 57.454% 56.05% 01.40% 376584 9408.00 { AhAs } Hand 1: 08.288% 08.29% 00.00% 55680 0.00 { KK-TT } Hand 2: 34.259% 32.86% 01.40% 220752 9408.00 { TT+, 33, A7s, 97s, 87s, 76s } I didn't include Ax spades in his range either, and it's a definite possibility that BTN has an overpair here too, right? If I put a decent range here, it looks like you definitely call this. Can you post results later? =P |
