Re: stupid hand vs fish
I would think a turn bet with that being the last $ you put in would be good. If he bluff c/r flop then you protect your hand and likely win it there, and you never get bluffed like you may have here. River idk, seems close.

Re: stupid hand vs fish
I'd call the river... dry board good for him to c/r on a pure bluff. I could see him stabbing again the river pretty easily. Def close tho.

Re: stupid hand vs fish

Re: stupid hand vs fish
Most people check the turn "defensivly" in this spot.
It is an explotiable maneuver that many people do not balance. Most people will two barrel all their bluffs on this type of turn so when they check the turn their range is almost entirely composed of weak made hands and strong hands planning to checkraise. You are beating basically no hands against this profile. Against this exploitable common behaviour its a fold. However, you are going to be checking behind a lot of your garbage in this spot, so if you ever have an opponent capable of leveling you, or checking the turn planning to c/r bluff air.. folding this hand will be folding way too much of your range. People on average play exploitably enough for this to be probabily a fold in a vacuum... If im trying to find out his tendencies ill def call this. |

Re: stupid hand vs fish
me likes.
it really just looks like he has a 5 or K and just afraid of the ace but still wants to showdown. obviously close though, or you wouldn't be asking |
