Weirdest internet problem ever encountered
This problem is easily reproduceable and I have never seen anything like it.
Using Firefox 2.0.0.7 in Windows XP I go to maps.google.com or click on a google maps link, If I attempt to zoom in, search an address or ANYTHING at all regarding the map my entire internet connection dies completely, everything disconnects and I can't get back on until I repair my adapter. Doesn't happen on any other sites, I use my computer for hours every day and maps.google.com is the only website that kills my internet connection, it's the only time my connection ever goes down (Cable). Internet Explorer 7 does not cause this problem with google maps. |

I recommend disabling ALL extensions in firefox and seeing if you can reproduce the problem. If yes, then submit bugs to both firefox & google maps. They will be your only help (search firefox forums too). If it doesn't happen after disabling extensions, then re-enable them one-by-one and retest. |

Re: Weirdest internet problem ever encountered
Good suggestion by Freakin. I've never heard of anything like that. Very odd. Another thing that would be worth trying would be to go to Tools > Clear Private Data in Firefox and clear everything out. Restart FF and try again.
