Calling is best, your hand plays better with more opponents than less.
Raise if you honestly believe everyone will fold, call otherwise. |

Yeah, a call's best most of the time here. People hate folding straights and sets and there's a pretty decent chance button has a non-nut FD that you'd like to get paid by if you hit. I'd need a pretty specific read on MP1 to try to push him off of his hand here.

So there's no value in just trying to get it heads up and maybe spike a pair? I've witnessed a lot of these shorter stacks stacking off with stuff like bottom pair + a 2pr draw.
Is this totally the wrong way to approach the game? Are you guys always trying to generate calls behind you by worse flushdraws and stuff? If it had been HU, do you CR push this hand? |
