I'm looking to get some practice at financial modelling with Excel in preparation for some prospective jobs.
My experience is limited atm; could anyone recommend a starting point? Thanks. |

I have a few ebooks you may be interested in:
Spreadsheet Modeling in Corporate Finance by Craig Holden (Kelly School of Business, Indiana University) Financial Analysis w/ Excel Statistical Analysis w/ Excel Also have a few Excel ebooks that aren't directly related to financial modeling but may be of help: Excel 2007 Data Analysis for Dummies Excel '07 Formulas Let me know if you'd like copies of any. I can upload them to a file hosting site or send over AIM. |

Go to gummy-stuff.org
Its a very comprehensive site with all sorts of excel financial models (monte carlos, etc) all to download for free. The VBA code is in each of the files, and viewable for free. Its from a math professor who occasionally posts on diehards. You can see how the data is pulled from Yahoo Finance by looking at the VBA code too. |
