Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages

Anyone 3bet flop? I think a call is better for extracting from worse hands, I think MP can get away from a lot of good hands if I 3bet. Turn is just wtf? |

Re: Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages
I like your flop play and definitely agree that we get more value from worst hands like sets/2pair. I call the turn shove though.

Re: Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages
I don't think anyone folds a set or two pair if you raise the flop.
I might slowplay the nut flush here but I probably just 3-bet flop with T high flush. |

Re: Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages
I can't believe you raise/folded the turn, esp after getting these kind of odds, and after slowplaying the flop.
Your turnplay is indeed wtf. |

I have to say, it may have been one hell of a fold, I think it was a good lay down.

Re: Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages
WHAT???
you realise you had a flush and an open ended straight-flush-draw, do you? wow, i could never ever lay this down! don't know if that's bad but i wouldn't even think of it! seriously, MP could have AK with one diamond or a lower flush, that's enough for me to happily get my money in. even without considering sets. |

Re: Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages
I'm not folding getting these odds with lower flushes possible, and such nonsensical lines. Also MP's turn line makes no sense to me which further makes me wanna call. He may have a retarded set/two pair with Ad who tried to price himself in drawing to a boat/flush, and then realised he got too good odds to fold and said arrrr in. Or he could have the nuts obviously. We even have 2 outs. Say wtf and then call.
After this hand i would never consider MP a "solid looking 19/17" again though, no matter what he had. Spaztard with sane preflop stats more like it. |

Re: Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages
Maybe Nielsio, but MP seemed solid to me so I doubt he does it without a flush, and even though the only likely higher one is Adxd, there are only really a couple of smaller ones. He almost never has 2pair here if you read the hand carefully (maybe QJ I guess, but unlikely. Possibly Aces up with the Ad?), so I guess the only non-flush hand he plays like this is 77 and maybe Adx I guess?
I think I'm just being retarded though and making up excuses for my sucky play here. |

Re: Oh man, I haven\'t felt this lost in ages
I'm ambivalent about the flop play.
On the turn, why did you raise so small? To induce a call from spewy UTG? I would have raised to at least $85. As for folding or calling, it's close and you probably made the right play. MP definitely seems pretty fearless, but I guess another possibility would be that after UTG overcalls he got stuck to a set? Still, looks like you're drawing to 1 or 2 outs a very big proportion of the time. |
