Default ($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?

The villain is somewhat loose and might not have a clear idea what he's doing.

Seems fine, I like it a lot better if you're in the BB tho.

Did you decide preflop to push on flop no matter what, or if texture of flop looks like it misses a raise (no A/K)?

Given the texture of the flop, I think this might be a bad play. Villain will be calling with any overpair, and do you really want him to fold an unimproved AQ or AK when he would likely C-Bet with position?

I rate this as 'decent' ... you can muck here and have 4 different shots to get it in first with your last FE, I think this is a little FPS-y without a read that CO is raising wide, or laying down a whiffed AJ for 3-1 on the flop ... not to mention the pairs that are crushing you already

Wouldn't I be better off just folding it PF then? Cause if you think this play is 'decent', what flop would you consider as being good for it? 226r? A35r?

If you decide to stop&go here, flop doesn't really matter since there is already so much money in the pot.
I like it.

I don't understand why you don't just push preflop. I can't see a loose player folding much if anything on that flop.

I prefer push preflop/fold preflop. I would call you with a weak flush draw on this flop (and this pot). Even with two overcards.

This is much better than pushing preflop. If you push, there is no chance to fold out anything. By calling and then shoving on any flop, you may push out a bigger pair should overcards flop or deny someone with overcards the chance to see a full board against you, especially someone who has two overcards to your pair, but not two overcards to the board.

That said, I prefer to stop-and-go out of the BB instead of the SB since I get to close the action and know that the pot will definately be heads up. If the BB cals or shoves behind your preflop call, its a really aweful spot for you.

I'm a big fan of the stop and go when the right situation presents, but it may be a bit FPS for a 24 where most players who would make that preflop raise have a calling range of 100% of their raising hands on 100% of flops
