My history might be wrong here but France won vs Germany the last two times they went to war.

This is a little like a football team getting beat 100-0, then the winning team being found to have used an ineligible player (who played on the third string, no less) and having to forfeit the win, and then the team that lost 100-0 saying, "HAHA WE WON BITCHEZ!!!!!!"
