3-Town this Clown?
Villain is 30/22/1.5 over ~400 hands. His play seems mediocre.
Poker Stars Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $5/$10 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises, 2 folds, Button 3-bets, SB folds, Hero caps, UTG calls, Button calls. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (12.4SB, 3 players) Hero bets, UTG calls, Button calls all-in $0.5. Re: 3-Town this Clown?
Could you fold to a cap?
Edit: In your second scenario, I'd just call since you can't beat KJ now. |

this is the easiest 3bet ever [/ QUOTE ] esp. with that turn card. one two 333333 EDIT: even without that turn card - if you are super duper tight then MAYBE a 3-bet doesn't make sense, but then the only hand we are worrying about is KJ really. You hear from smaller sets and you hear from KK. If this guy had KK he hates money. |

Re: 3-Town this Clown?
he has a hand like AK, KQ, KJ, he woulda been reraising if he had pocket kings. He was likely peeling lightly. This is an extremely easy 3 bet. if you dont your just donking yourself out of money. Especially cuz there are 55 on board so you even beat KJ with a higher 2 pair.

Re: 3-Town this Clown?
3-town is spewage IMO... I'm only really concerned about 66/JJ/KK here, X 5 is an afterthought... I think KK plays much more aggro on the flop/turn, so JJ/66 seems more likely... I think we open ourselves up too much with a 3-bet... we are only getting capped here if we're behind...
really what we are banking on here is that villain is incapable of reading boards... you cap out of the BB, and bet on every street... he has to put you on an overpair here... call river... I'd be much less likely to raise the 56J2K board because of KJ not being counterfeited... eitherway, Call IMO also, how often do we need to be ahead here to make 3town +EV if we're only getting capped when we are behind? |

Re: 3-Town this Clown?
This is AK/KJs pretty much every time. KK seems totally out. JJ and 66 would be pretty retarded given how much strength you've shown. 3/c

Re: 3-Town this Clown?
I'd 3-bet. He's got AK/KQ most of the time here.
