Default Where\'s the best place for a poker player to move to?

I've been playing online poker for a yr in the UK. I'm now thinking of relocating because the weather in the UK is soooooo bad and house prices are expensive.

Obviously the U.S isn't an option due to the new online gaming laws and because their immagration laws are so strict.

So where do you think the best place to move would be?
These are the determining factors in order of preference:

1) Must be easy for a British citizen to move there.
2) English speaking.
3) Hot (Can't handle anymore rain!).
4) Safe.
5) Low cost of living.
6) Not too far from the UK (ie less than 10 hour flight)

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Don't ask for much do you.

Round here people seem to like Tailand and Argentina.
Australia also but your factor 2 and 6 complicates all.

Malta could do the trick for you having thought about it for a while.

Best advice I can think of are:

Thailand : Fails on distance and somewhat on Engrish. But excels in other areas
Australia: Fails on COst of livin (prob not compared to London though)
DOminican Republic: I think it actually covers all your requirements.

Portugal and the Canary islands are other possibilities closer to home.

Does any one know if you have to pay tax on your gambling winnings in New Zealand?
