Cake Poker and software
I remember reading that Poker Tracker and other programs are not allowed at Cake poker. I was just wondering how come I have more than 20 people watching some of my tables (.25/.5 NL) and never less than 3-4 watching any of my tables.

I was wondering this too. Maybe the tables don't time out and will just stay open forever if you open them and dont bother to close them out?

Re: Cake Poker and software
That might be the case. I just noticed from my first day that around 5 people seemed to be watching every table I was at. That's not to strange when you consider people waiting or people who lost the seat for not posting. Still I found it odd. Then today I see 30 watching one table and 20 something watching another table, I just had to ask.
I guess I'm best off emailing support. |

Re: Cake Poker and software
I have a feeling that the software counts the people playing as also watching. Just a feeling, no proof of this.

Re: Cake Poker and software
yeah, tables never close at cake. you can time out and still have the table open 12 hours later. it's kinda convenient for reviewing your friends' sessions after the fact, but nobody's actually datamining that I know of.

Re: Cake Poker and software
Bit of a hijack but I don't really care enough to start a new thread... Am I the only person who can only view the immediate last hand they were in? If I try hitting previous I get a message about being unable to retrieve the hand?
