I like a nice ole 3 bet PF.
On to the hand, I think taking one off here is good. Call here, dont raise. See what he does. |

Re: Being a nit postflop, AQs 50nl
I think you need to raise preflop, specifically to keep the blinds out.
I call on the flop...you gain no value by raising. Can't imagine folding here...if so, I don't understand why you called preflop. |

I 3-bet PF, though calling isnt terrible w. position. I think I would call this flop. I don't see why you folded?

Re: Being a nit postflop, AQs 50nl
I called pf here having just sat down:
Anyway, as for folding, I've been leaking money in these spots, even when calling. The flop bet by villain is larger than normal at this level. Otherwise, I dunno, a combo of other feelings. First, calling here = being in a large pot with TP, again something I haven't been winning with. Secondly, I think its WA/WB and I'm in a spot if he fires out $15-$20 on the turn and I don't improve. Finally is that I didn't raise pf, so I have no idea what UTG is firing with here. Again, I'm working on trying to reduce the amount of money I'm losing vs winning in these spots...which isn't why I called pf, my original reason is valid. At this level, vs 100nl which I've been playing as well, I'm playing with the idea of maximizing the spots where I'm stronger vs, battling for these "marginal" spots. I think if he bets $4 on the flop my action changes. Any of this make sense? |

the only hand you're really behind here is AK. I'm calling this all day and seeing what he does on the river.

Easy call. I see so many people do this with KK or QQ and be like "[censored], an ace came, well I am going to make them think I have it."

Re: Being a nit postflop, AQs 50nl
why r u even calling pre if u r gonna do this on the flop.
u dont have n e reads therefore u wanna keep the pot as small as possible but a sandard cbe here isnt enough to make me think i am behind. i go into check call mode on this hand unless he does sumtin really weird. think about all the hands he plays like this. u r well ahead of his range here. call and then reevaluate the turn |

Re: Being a nit postflop, AQs 50nl
I would agree, but I didn't see this as a spot to make a stand, nor is this a standard c/bet imo.
