Default New Fight Question

Since the last one was so popular, here is one that is more relevant, that I have no idea about.

In a fight to the death with no gloves inside an enclosure, rate the chances of these five:

World's best boxer

World's best karate and or other Asian martial arts.

World's most elite Navy Seal as far as hand to hand combat is concerned.

World's best real streetfighter from a gang or whatever.

World's best ultimate fighting champion

Assume fairly equal weights of course

It's a fight to the death. Last time I checked, the SEAL was the only one on that list who was actually trained to kill.

wow... you ever knock someone out, its not that hard to kill them after that point. you ever choke someone out, its not that hard to kill them if you don't let go.

Also Guy Metzger, a average ufc fighter, beat up multiple navy seals at a bar.

I'm going with the best gang street fighter.

There's a pretty high chance that world's best fighter isn't a Navy Seal, Boxer, Martial Arts or UFC fighter.

You're assuming the SEAL allows him to do either of those things. This is one of the most basic differences between someone who is trained for fighting and someone who is trained for combat--the latter individual will go straight for the kill.

Taking your Guy Metzger story as true, the Navy SEALs he beat up were not the "most elite" SEAL in terms of hand to hand combat, nor was the fight to the death.

I think we can all agree that the boxer would stand next to no chance, at least.

Were they the worlds most skilled in hand to hand combat as far as Navy Seals go? As I said above, if said fighters are "average" in quality as you mentioned Guy was, the outcome is entirely different.

An average SEAL would get his ass kicked in this crowd, but the world's best must be pretty f-ing hard core and may be highly trained in many different disciplines.

If the group were all just modestly skilled, perhaps this wouldn't be the correct response. But since you prefaced it as him being the "world's most elite Navy Seal as far as hand to hand combat is concerned", it's a no-brainer.
