frop a frush king high howd i do
villain is 27/9/2 but pretty aggressive after he limps in otb or something and the flop gets checked to him. seems to play position otherwise seems weakish. original raiser is tag.
Full Tilt Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter CO: $400 BTN: $312.20 SB: $440 Hero (BB): $420.80 UTG: $398 MP: $1,000.20 Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB) UTG raises to $14, 2 folds, BTN calls $14, SB folds, Hero calls $10 Flop: ($44) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero checks, UTG checks, BTN bets $28, Hero calls $28, UTG folds I don't wanna lead out I want pf raiser to c/bet and villain to call then see whats up. after villain bets a c/r looks really strong so i call. Turn: ($100) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $44, BTN calls $44 think i made a mistake here but i want to look like im weak and trying to see a cheap river. maybe he raises but in hindsight with my read he's not gonna raise with anything besides a made flush, which he could have. but he's def. not semi bluff shoving the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. River: ($188) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $88 I'm planning on bet folding the river but want value from a smaller flush so i chose $88. |

Re: frop a frush king high howd i do
I'd fold PF.. on flop now that we hit gin I'd usually lead, so many hands that UTG raised PF (since he only raises 9% of hands) will be inclined to 3-bet.. (sets, AdA AdQ, AdK, other big draws)

Re: frop a frush king high howd i do
bad.
i fold preflop. you are OOP against a raiser and a coldcaller. ur hand sucks. i checkraise the flop and try to get it in, cause if the board pairs on the turn or brings another diamond ur hand is either beat or doesnt get any value. As played i bet $80 at least on the turn and c/c the river for bluffinduce since he might bluff with QQ (with d) or other hands here he'd fold against a river bet |

Re: frop a frush king high howd i do
im not that interested in pf i know my hands is dominated balahblah blah. given that i c/c the flop what sizes are getting called on turn and river??? he's not going to be semibluffing so any diamond draw he has just gets checked through but a flush will still raise.
just jam the turn and river? or are you saying youd never be in this situation because you'd c/r flop so you don't know what to do? |

no, reasonable player. (@LucidDream) Hes totally right.
u just misplayed it How could u not want to get ur money in on the flop and wait for the board to get even more scary? Take it as a lesson and play better the next time (by just folding this crap preflop) |

Re: frop a frush king high howd i do
if he's got a set or the A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] he's gonna be betting anyways so i don't think i give much up by not leading unless he's planning on folding those hands to a c/r but would three bet if i led (which would be a massive mistake on my part if thats the case).
maybe a lead is best, they usually end up folding but i give myself a chance to win a big pot. also if someone has the Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] they're going nowhere which i failed to take into account. |

Re: frop a frush king high howd i do
This hand isn't really that bad TBH. I don't mind a flop c/c given your read that button auto bets with his whole range here. A raise is fine but if he's really betting that often you're prob better off drastically underrepping your hand by just calling. C/R the turn tho, unless hes a complete spewtard in which case you can weak lead like you did and hope to get spazz raised, or check/slow call the turn and either super slow chk the river or lead for some fruity amount and make his head explode.
But in reality, he has to be so agg for this to be correct. Also its 2/4 so just fast play the flop and get it in with whatever rando made hand he might hold. I'm just pointing out that your line certainly isn't as terrible as others are saying. |
