STTF SNG->cash thread
Ok, well bluefeet sanctioned this so I think I might as well give it a shot. I guess the idea since SSNL apparently sucks and MSNL ignores us, we'll just throw some cash hands in this thread and see what happens. I guess the only advice would be to try to wait until the discussion on one hand dies down a little before posting another one, or we'll wind up with a big mess of spaghetti. Which will probably happen anyway. Cest la vie. I guess the other solution would be for us to just takeover SSNL or something.
Here are some hands. I really really suck btw, so simply telling me I'm horrible won't really accomplish anything. Also I'm playing laggy because I figure I'll learn quicker wth villians are up to, even though I know it will probably be expensive. With the state of things, I figure I'll probably be getting a job soon anyway, so I don't really mind risking the roll at this point. Oh yeah, by the time of most of these hands occurred I had established myself as laggy early and a river calling station. So keep that in mind. #1 PokerStars Game #7996941782: Hold'em No Limit ($1/$2) - 2007/01/18 - 06:06:20 (ET) Table 'Adelheid' 6-max Seat #4 is the button Seat 1: suzzer99 ($148.05 in chips) Seat 2: krawiec ($393.95 in chips) Seat 3: splashn95 ($78.70 in chips) Seat 4: Reynolds XO ($591.35 in chips) Seat 5: SefenHoldem ($142.55 in chips) Seat 6: BY@NYC ($56.70 in chips) SefenHoldem: posts small blind $1 BY@NYC: posts big blind $2 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to suzzer99 [Kh As] suzzer99: raises $6 to $8 krawiec: calls $8 splashn95: folds Reynolds XO: folds SefenHoldem: calls $7 BY@NYC: folds *** FLOP *** [Kc Jh 9s] SefenHoldem: checks suzzer99: bets $22 krawiec: calls $22 SefenHoldem: folds *** TURN *** [Kc Jh 9s] [2s] suzzer99: bets $46 krawiec: raises $54 to $100 suzzer99: calls $54 *** RIVER *** [Kc Jh 9s 2s] [Tc] suzzer99: checks krawiec: bets $114 suzzer99: calls $18.05 and is all-in This is the first time I'd gotten into it with this dude. Obv I'm going for the CR on the turn here. I'm never ever ahead on this river, and leading is bad right (in addition to everything else)? I show the results so you can see what this dude was up to. |

I'll go more in depth later, but this
[ QUOTE ] Preflop I hadn't raised in a while so I felt the need to maintain my laggy image. [/ QUOTE ] Is really wrong. |

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
Ok, maybe I was bored. But there is a style of play where you become known as a guy who will play any 2 cards, then reap the action you get. Again, OBVIOUSLY I don't have the skill to play this way. But it is a style. Plus I was suited.

Going to get drunk, will explain more later/tomorrow. |

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
suzz, stats on the guy from hands 1 and 2?
3) is a river fold IMO. you dont beat a lot. 4) if hes indeed solid, and he believes you're solid then you can fold to a push there, i mean surely hes 3-betting anything that makes an overpair there pf and thats a pretty dry board what could he be bluffing? 5) id 3-bet this pf all day from in position especially with your read and him being CO. 6) LOL |

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
#1 and #2 guy was like 35/17 or something I think. It was pretty obvious after hand #1 that he knew I was trying to get my BI back and he was more than happy to try to take another one. IE - he thought I sucked and/or was steaming.

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread
hmm. unless hes a nut postflop then id c/c turn and c/c a small river bet but fold if he bombs it in hand 1. hand 2 id probably fold the turn but as played i think bet/calling the river is fine, you dont want to fold 2 pair here bvb

Re: STTF SNG->cash thread

2. Raise pf. Check river maybe but bet isn't bad. Very read dependant to the RR. 3. CR turn AI 4. Fine 5. Call turn 6. Terrrrriblleee |
