NL100: Aces up vs. possibly tilted villian
Vilian is 28/13/1.23
and seems decent First hand I float him for two streets and stole it on the river. In the chat he was obviously annoyed by it as he didn't really believe I would chase the flush, but he could't call the river ******* Hand 1 ******** Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 3 players Converter Stack sizes: Button: $257.45 SB: $99 Hero: $109.60 Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Button folds, SB raises to $3, Hero calls. Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($6, 2 players) SB bets $6, Hero calls. River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($38, 2 players) SB checks, Hero bets $32, SB folds. Uncalled bets: $32 returned to Hero. Results: Final pot: $38 CHAT: Villian: "i dont think i gave you enough credit there" Hero: "u might have given me too much, LOL" Villian: "shoulda called...cause i dont think youd chase that that far and then bet 26 lesss than youd have to to make it worth it" So he obv. had something... Re: NL100: Aces up vs. possibly tilted villian
I don't see what you are really losing to here, maybe he was going for a check raise on the flop, but you're really only behind A6 and AT. I'd call it.

Re: NL100: Aces up vs. possibly tilted villian
FWIW, in hand 1 i 3-bet the SB raise when you are IP in BVB.
hand 2 is really close. i think if you were on the draw you probably would have bet the flop when checked to. it seems unlikely you would RR the turn bet on the FD alone, so villain has to know you at least have an A. my guess is that villain probably has a pretty big hand here and is trying to goad you into calling. i am a lower variance guy and would probably pass on this spot but i dont think a call is aweful eitehr. |

Re: NL100: Aces up vs. possibly tilted villian
Hand 2:
I'd raise PF, you are IP. I think villain would have raised pf with 66/1010 so we can discount those - most likely has a flush draw (maybe two spades with a 6?). I call. |

Re: NL100: Aces up vs. possibly tilted villian
defo raise hand 2 pf,
as played i call the hand there expecting to see JT, QT, KT, maybe Ax (some of which beat you), maybe the nut spade draw with a pair? |
