$50, 25k guarantee- JJ in 4 way 3bet pot
This is like the 4th hand of the tourney so absolutely no reads. Only thing they have seen on me is a limped 45s floated with a gutterball and backdoor flush draw, and turned the nuts and got it in against top 2, that's how I have my stack.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)
MP1 (t2960) MP2 (t2970) MP3 (t2980) CO (t3410) Hero (t5720) SB (t2990) BB (t2980) UTG (t2940) UTG+1 (t3000) Preflop: Hero is Button with , . UTG raises to t40, 1 fold, MP1 calls t40, MP2 calls t40, 2 folds, Hero raises to t220, 2 folds, UTG calls t180, MP1 calls t180, MP2 calls t180. Flop: (t910) , , (4 players) UTG checks, MP1 bets t600, MP2 calls t600, Hero calls t600, UTG folds. Turn: (t2710) (3 players) MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks. River: (t2710) (3 players) MP1 bets 700, MP2 raises to t1400, Hero ...??? ------------------------------------------------ Preflop I could go either way on this with JJ. Raising on the button looks like a steal, so you might get called by a wide range of unbelievers. I might have also just called and played for set value and position. Flop I think it's mistake not to reraise this flop. Unless you put them on overpairs, you can't give any free cards. I'd repop it to t2000. Turn We obviously don't like this card. However, the only hand that might have checked the turn with a King is KK and he should have bet the flop. That would be MP1. Since he smooth called PF, I don't put him on that. River Unless they superslow played AA/KK/QQ, I think your good here. The only hand I'm afraid of is KQ/KJ and i think they would have bet the turn. I think you should call the t1400. If MP1 reraises, I do a crying call since I still have them both outchipped and hope he was on flush draw. Rod |

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop I could go either way on this with JJ. Raising on the button looks like a steal, so you might get called by a wide range of unbelievers. I might have also just called and played for set value and position. [/ QUOTE ] I like raising slightly more pre because 1. it will look more like you're stealing and might get shoved on/called by worse hands and 2. if I do get called I'd like to play this hand vs. 1 or 2 villains at most. [ QUOTE ] Flop I think it's mistake not to reraise this flop. Unless you put them on overpairs, you can't give any free cards. I'd repop it to t2000. [/ QUOTE ] Given villain stacks I'm raising this flop as well, looking to get it in. MP2 call given his stack is scary, he could have 5x, 44, but people do stupid stuff and I don't think I'm getting away from JJ on this k ind of flop. |
