NL50: KJs picks up FD OOP on turn on AA53 board
villain hasn't been at table long so no real reads. In the time he's been there I've been tight (if he's paying attention). Never really sure what to do against unknowns in spots like these.
I'm trying to incorporate a bit more bet/folding than check/ calling in my game, so part of me wants to bet this turn and represent trips, but plenty of players will wait until the turn to raise here, and if he raises too big, getting blown off my draw sucks as it's nicely disguised. So, bet or check turn? I bet here. While you run the risk of getting blown off your hand, you also cant stand to c/c a psb or close to it. By betting at least you give yourself the opportunity to get him to fold some random pocket pair and/or set your own price for the draw.
