could be but in a live game no one is ever folding after putting that many bets in.

Re: live 8/16 anybody raise this river?
What would raising the river accomplish? I don't think a good thinking player is donking into 2 opponents, who have shown no indication they're folding, with the intention of folding to a raise.
I think you should raise the flop. |

Re: live 8/16 anybody raise this river?
Raise the flop not the turn you have the best hand here a significant amount of the time and you can eliminate buttone who likely has 2 overcards to the board. It makes this whole hand play out much easier.
If he calls the flop raise, I'd check the turn and call a river bet or bet/fold the turn and check behind the river. As played you can fold river. You've represented AK and villain doesn't care. Toss it and move on |

Re: live 8/16 anybody raise this river?
After river donk buttons hand looks more like AT-AK, TT than JJ-KK. But live poker is weird because sometimes people fold top pair on the river. But just fold it won't work often enough.
