PS 3R: CC CO raise from BTN????

What factors do you use on whether to cold call here or raise? I think it's interesting since we're both pretty deep. |

Well I'm a nit, so I'm rarely cold calling and reraising even less frequently. I guess I might take a shot at calling with suited connectors or face cards or a small to medium pair. Sometimes I get a little tricky and just call with a monster. I don't know. This seems like a very vague question that's going to take us in several different directions.

This is going to go in all sorts of directions, but I think one factor is definitely post-flop play. If you think you can outplay after the flop, then you're going to be cold-calling a bit wider but still very tight. Also have to factor in CO's image to get a better idea of a proper 3-bet range.
