common PF situation deep
villain is a regular and bb is also a regular, both your normal TAG player and BTN's steal blind % is 29%, so my hand is certainly better than his range, but we are deep, he has position after flop, is it worth to 3 bet here or just fold. Also, what's your 3 bet range here usually.
Poker Stars, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (SB): $458.60 BB: $228.40 UTG: $434.15 MP: $322.85 CO: $197 BTN: $496.05 Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) 3 folds, BTN raises to $8 Hero: ? |

fold [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. Weak suited Aces suck OOP heads-up. 3-bet with decent Broadway, decent pairs, decent SCs. |

Re: common PF situation deep
I would probably three bet 100bb deep, but when you are this deep he should be calling with a wide range and you are going to be put in a lot of marginal spots OOP. I fold.

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed but I'll go with ANY pair and add suited one gappers... basically anything that has a chance to hit the flop hard and he won't be expecting. Put the pressure back on him! Strong on flop. if he is still in after that and you haven't picked up, dump it. |
