$16 AA slowplayed
Hey, how's this? BTN has tight stats but opens fairly weak late game. I am not sure that he will call a shove pre, even getting 2-1 b/c I think he's opening that light. FloP I try to CR and turn is a mess. With such weak bets and no flop bet I don't put either on a K.

Re: $16 AA slowplayed
I'm always raising this preflop, but if you have to just call you should be betting this flop 100%.

Re: $16 AA slowplayed
You're at 10BB and he raised 3bet in front of you, EASY PUSH. PUSH THE FLOP.

Re: $16 AA slowplayed
Slowplaying PF with ~10BB is eww, slowplaying out of position makes it worse.
As played I would flatcall turn and push the river. |

Re: $16 AA slowplayed
This is a push pre flop. He is either on a steal, and I'm not giving him a flop to try and hit, or he has a legit hand that he will call with. Either scenario - get your money in.

Re: $16 AA slowplayed
Slow playing AA is trouble.
In fact slowplaying anything - when you have the best hand, it can only go down from there. I don't like to be superstitious but there's something about it... Think of how many times you've gotten someone all in after you make a flush or a straight and they show AA or KK or something that would have pushed your crappy hand out of the pot preflop. |

Re: $16 AA slowplayed
i disagree, you have to slow play sometimes to vary your betting patterns. Otherwise you become easy to read. Yes there is risk, but there is also rewards in the current hand and future hands.

Re: $16 AA slowplayed
I always just push here, people constantly call with 44 and A6 and stuff.
