How to do wholesale copy of THunderbird + all email accts to a new cpu
I've got around 11 email accounts set up in my Thunderbird client.
I'm getting a new computer and i want to just be able to basically transplant my Thunderbird client + all email accounts as I have them set up to the new computer without having to set each account up individually w/ all the settings, etc, like i had to do when i originally set up the accounts on my existing computer. Something easy I can do...? |

Re: How to do wholesale copy of THunderbird + all email accts to a new cpu
why do you want to move them to your processor? The harddrive would be a better place........
There is an export feature in Outlook express, but I am not sure about Thunderbird, try googling it if you don't get an answer here soon. |

Re: How to do wholesale copy of THunderbird + all email accts to a new
You will need to copy your Thunderbird profile directory to the new computer. See here for details:
http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/profile It doesn't explicitly cover copying to a new computer, but the details of moving/copying profiles around are similar. |
