NL200 - QQ overpair on flop
One of my big leaks is that i'm playing to nitty. Here's a hand where i'm not sure if my fold was ok or if it would've been better to shove over his raise.
Villain is 34/15/1.28 over 350 hands, flop AF is 2.73. He called fast preflop and I don't think he plays a draw this way. Pacific Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $211.6 CO: $307.3 Button: $80.65 Hero: $204 BB: $318.87 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, Button raises to $6, Hero raises to $18, BB calls, Button folds. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($40, 2 players) Hero bets $27, BB raises to $68, Hero folds. |

Re: NL200 - QQ overpair on flop
i think that's a bad fold in a 3bet pot. i'd try to either get my money in on the flop or turn, depending on how the guy plays. minraise = anything from "i put you on AK" to the nuts.

Re: NL200 - QQ overpair on flop
I'd raise it up a bit more preflop. like 22-23ish
flop, seems like a pretty bad fold considering you cbet so weak. your really only worried about AA/KK here since I think most people w/ JJ are gonna slowplay here. so yea, I think you're looking at AJs, A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], or some random hand like TT trying to find out where he's at on the flop since you cbet so weak way more often than AA/KK. |
