Re: KJ in a raised pot
Depends!
Against an unknown in lower stakes where there isnt much 3-betting going on I'd just call down. At higher stakes where there are more idiots who 3-bet me with 55 and ATo and calls down UI even when someone rases the field I'd c/r the flop for value. |

It's 1/2 - c/r the flop.

It's 1/2 - c/r the flop. [/ QUOTE ] I'd much rather c/r this at 10/20 than at 1/2 |

Re: KJ in a raised pot
I would wait for a non flush, non A turn and c/r there. I think we can dare to raise somewhere in this hand even at this limit Oink.

But I think that an unknown buttons range in a 10/20 game is a helluvalot wider than an unknown at 1/2. The fish prolly makes it a c/r regardless. I wouldnt ever wait for the turn btw. If both Hero and fish calls the flop I wouldnt expect button to bet/call worse hands a lot and he is checking worse hands rather often - even at 1/2. So the c/r should be on the flop IMO. |

Re: KJ in a raised pot
Oink appears to have changed his opinion on this hand. I c/r the flop here because fish are likely to call down when I am ahead and probably will fail charge me a lot when I am behind. Against better players, I might play differently because a c/r here represents strength, which a good player would pick up on.

IMO its a close one at 1/2 and I would like a c/r more at higher stakes where button's range is wider and where a TAG or LAG/TAG will call down more. Since its close at lower stakes I would just take the low variance line. |
