Re: $22s - shortstack limps 40% of his stack
Tricky. That play doesn't seem very "solid" and is very suspicious given his previous play. I fold, not only because he is possibly holding a high pair, but because he is already pot committed with the BB and you might as well let those two slug it out and benefit from the results. My concern is that raising all in would not be +EV for you given higher probability villian is holding a high pair, and the smaller possibility of SB and BB also raising all in.

[/ QUOTE ] I like folding also, mainly for the reasons you gave. However, if I'm playing this hand, I'm not raising all-in. I'm either calling and we'll get the rest of his stack in on the flop, or I'm minraising. |

I just let one of the blinds deal with villan here. Your hadn its good, but it's also dominated by most hands you see a solid player limping here, namely QQ-AA, and AK.

I always fold or raise all-in when at less than 10 BB, but this may be one of those uncommon circumstances where min raise can be considered the best play.

I minraise here usually. And just get out my luckcharm and see the showdown!

Re: $22s - shortstack limps 40% of his stack
I should have mentioned that I do not expect BB to take this hand away from me if I minraise or limp. I do expect him to go to a showdown with UTG almost 100% of the time if I fold.
