I don't mind the shove, but seriously, without reads and your own image anything someone else tells you is pretty much going to be useless.

I don't try to get people to fold overpairs, I like that you have plenty of outs if called, but still don't make it a habit to try and get people to fold overpairs

depends if your loose or tight [/ QUOTE ] I play super aggro tag. This was Villians first orbitz at the table. I picked up this move from watching Whitelime vs. Ivey heads up. whitelime checked/called raggy flop, turned open ender, check, ivey bet 15.2K and whitelime shoved for 52K on top, ivey tanked and called with Jacks |

Re: Does he fold overpair often enough to be profitable?
Just reading the title my answer is generally "no."
However, I think your turn semibluff check-raise is nice here, though I would have folded the flop since Villain led out in a 4-way pot on a dry board. Thinking more about it, though, if Villain is good he shouldn't be betting the turn unless he's intending to call a shove. |

Just reading the title my answer is generally "no." [/ QUOTE ] Although after reading the thread this is one spot where it is not a bad play. |
