Default Scraping a screen for a number using scripting language?

I have tried Au3info.exe and the AutoHotKey spy to try and see the value of a textbox in a program, but it can't return the value of the text box (only the color under the mouse cursor, which is obviously not helpful).

Any idea to "see" the number in a text field via scraping? Is this possible using AutoIt/AutoHotKey?

I used the ImageSearch function before when I needed to scrape text that was not visible in the au3spy. Will take some time to implement since you will need to make image files for each number. Are you making a poker bot???

No, I'm not making a poker bot. I wouldn't have asked here if I was.
