Re: small overpair on the flop
anybody who cold calls an UTG raise AND a 3-bet from the BB has a pair of some kind. If he's typical and decent (which should usually be your default assumption with no history), he almost never has one T in his hand. 99-55 are unlikely to do this, and he's committing himself with this minraise. You are a 9:1 dog VERY often here.
Also, your flop bet is much too big on this board. You will get just as much information if you bet $5.50 on this dry ragged board. |

Re: small overpair on the flop
I agree flop bet is too large, should of kept it to the $4.50-$5.50 range. I would think that if he had AA or KK he would of raised again or pushed pf, but he could of been smooth calling your raise to entice you to bet the flop.
I will admit that I am still learning and consider myself a novice, but I feel you are ahead enough here to justify a call and you are pot committed IMO. How does everyone else feel about this? |

Re: small overpair on the flop
i think b/c i bet the flop too hard i may have to get it all-in. Good suggestion to bet less, makes the hand way easier to play IMO.
