QQ getting some resistance
No reads, just sat down. I think I played it right on the flop.

Re: QQ getting some resistance
Wow, that is a sick line from SB...I would probably just shove flop, though. Without any reads, as played, fold turn.

Re: QQ getting some resistance
3betting the flop seems natural, but would commit you to the pot. Calling seems ok, I'm not really sure on this one. As played the turn is an easy fold.

Re: QQ getting some resistance
I would raise the flop because villians always raise you on flops like these thinking you missed.

[ QUOTE ]
I would raise the flop because villians always raise you on flops like these thinking you missed. [/ QUOTE ] And it's not even a bad play for SB to do this. I mean, usually he's going to be right. Anyway, I guess Hero should fold the turn, but it's one of those folds that's difficult for me, since I don't know if SB interpreted my flop call the way I intended for him to ("No, really, I have a hand"). I mean, if he's got 44, he should think it's probably better than my hand on the flop, and he should know that it's not once I don't fold (especially when the turn completes the obvious draw). But sometimes I worry that Villain isn't thinking that way and pay off. (And the fact that he could have JJ/TT does count for something, too.) |

Re: QQ getting some resistance
bleh, I 3bet flop and pay him off if he has a set. Big stacks tend to be more wont to push people around, and out of the SB his range is pretty wide.
