First Post - Paired Flop Flush Draw
This is my first Post so feel free to comment on my post formatting as well as the hands.
Villain is 27/9/4 over 120 hands PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver) saw flop|[color=#C00000]saw showdown</font> [color=#C00000]Cityburke ($192.50)</font> CO ($116.05) Button ($158.60) SB ($74.80) BB ($126.90) [color=#C00000]UTG ($122.30)</font> Preflop: Cityburke is MP with K, Q. UTG calls $1, [color=#CC3333]Cityburke raises to $5</font>, [color=#666666]4 folds</font>, UTG calls $4. Turn: ($95.50) 6 [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font> UTG checks, [color=#CC3333]Cityburke bets $30</font>, [color=#CC3333]UTG raises to $75.3</font>, Cityburke calls $45.30. River: ($246.10) J [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font> Final Pot: $246.10 My thought. Flop I felt like his range included a bunch of pairs under 9 after he check min raised that flop and suited connectors with a 9. I also felt like he would c/r bluff a lot on this flop(is this realistic?). Anyway so I thought he would fold a lot of his range to that semi bluff reraise. Turn. I'm looking back and thinking I should have just checked behind. Probably way ahead or way behind right? Does he only call with a boat here or A2s. Thanks for any replies. |

Re: First Post - Paired Flop Flush Draw
Villains check-min raise on this flop certainly don't mean much strength so a 3-bet is good. I probably make it a tad more like $50 or so (and call a push). Just calling would be ok too since you're getting great odds. 3betting is probably most +EV though since it's really unlikely he flopped a boat/trips and he should fold mid pp's and hopefully some 9's to your 3bet.
Once you hit on the turn, just try get the money in the middle. I probably just set him all-in there since it's less than a pot size bet. |

you're turn bet is suspiciously small, unless you had a read or wanted to bait him bbased on something turn is a shove
