Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, CO calls, Button calls, Hero completes, BB raises, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls. Flop: (8 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero ?? I'm not sure which line or reasoning is best-- 1) I want to check the flop and call one or maybe 2 bets. My fear is that the flop bets gets raised and I am left in the awkward situation of cold-calling 2 bets cold, essentially giving my hand away, because three-betting there would seem like a spew. Or 2) donk the flop and face a likely raise and the prospect of playing this pot heads-up, killing my price for my flush draw. Which poison do I pick? |

[/ QUOTE ] Take door number 1 and it is not close. Leading into the PFR and allowing him to face the field with two cold and depriving you of the equity that is rightfully yours is foolish. Don't worry that your hand is readable. You aren't winning this hand unimproved and you won't be cleaning up any outs. Super easy check and decide. |

i'll go as far as saying it's a check and never raise, even if 2 guys call.
