My Money is Gone in Full Tilt
I played last night finished with about $500 in my account. I Turned off my computer. I opened full tilt this morning and the cashier says $0.04
There was a new update to download for full tilt this morning. I would be less nervous if the cashier said $0.00 The transaction history in the cashier doesn't show anything. I emailed about three hours ago; no response yet. Any advise or dis/en-couraging remarks would be appreciated. |

Re: My Money is Gone in Full Tilt
Email FTP, obv. Run virus/spyware/trojan/anti-rootkit scans on your PC.
I hate hearing about this stuff. Good luck! |

Re: My Money is Gone in Full Tilt
At this point would err on the side of caution and assume you have been hacked. I would change passwords on all accounts (mail, banking, poker, whatever) accessed from the computer. Make sure you do it from a safe computer.

Re: My Money is Gone in Full Tilt
Is there a way to DL your last handhistories (I dont play at FTP so I dunno) so you could tell if you were the victim of chip dumping?

Re: My Money is Gone in Full Tilt
Thanks, I'm running AVG free edition right now. I'm dumb with this stuff. My wife can probably do more when she gets home.
I couldn't find anything to look at hand histories. A quick glance in the ftp forum, I read they have no phone number to call?? How long do email responses usually take? This has come on top of my career worst downswing. |

[/ QUOTE ] When someone was hacked for $200K, he didn't have a phone number to call, so I wouldn't hope for that. Email them. You can request your HH through email. Get to a safe computer ASAP and change all other passwords. They shouldn't take TOO long to respond by email. |

Re: My Money is Gone in Full Tilt
AVG Anti-virus Free Edition found nothing. Is there still danger?
I changed my passwords from a computer that shares internet access, but not connected file sharing-wise. Is that ok? Thank you for the responses. |

A quick glance in the ftp forum, I read they have no phone number to call?? [/ QUOTE ] In the year of our lord 2007, that does deserve a double question mark, doesn't it? No 800 number. God only knows what people do in these situations if they don't happen to have a 2+2 account, and if FTPJohn, FTPGeorge or FTPRingo doesn't happen to wake up and notice this particular edition of the daily FTP event... Good luck man, and in the future remember to only do business with folks who have earned your business. That's a cheap lesson at $500. |
