Non-Poker Book Recommendations
I'm a little burnt out on poker books so I'm looking for recommendations along the lines of the following, which I found to be excellent:
Fooled by Randomness, by Taleb Against the Gods, by Bernstein Chaos, by Gleick Fortune's Formula, by Poundstone Thanks. |

Re: Non-Poker Book Recommendations
One of the best, most interesting books I have ever read is Mind hunter by FBI agent John Douglas. If you enjoy true crime you will love it. I actually read it twice it was so good.

Re: Non-Poker Book Recommendations
I stopped reading Harry Potters part way through 4. The characters have one way of doing anything - a single adverb used 100 times in each book. 'Drily'. I don't know what that says about Rowling. It's even the ugly way of spelling it.

Charles Mingus - "Beneath The Underdog" "The Ultimate Guide To Anal Sex For Women" - Tristan Taormino (recommended to me by Amazon... serious next level user profiling in effect) |

The Sirens of Titan is another lesser known book by Vonnegut that is very good. |
