New Website
I have recently created a webpage for fantasy soccer fans where they can create a fantasy soccer team and enter them into a tournament format using leagues in Europe. There will be an entry fee and a prize for winners and other places. Before I put this onto the internet, I just wanted to know if this is considered a form of gambling. I guess its just kind of a pool? Is this legal?

Re: New Website
It's gambling yes. I don't know about the legalities.

Re: New Website
Yea I kinda figured it was a form of gambling. Can anyone step up and tell me what I need to do to make sure I am doing it legally? This is the final step before I actually put the website up. Help Please!

Re: New Website
It has been suggested to me that it might be legal if there was just an entry fee and then set prizes for each place that aren't money. For example, first place wins a dvd player, second place a dvd, and third place a soccer jersey. Would this work?

Re: New Website
This type of idea should really be reviewed with a lawyer, to get an official opinion...
