Pray. It is hard to develop any serious strategies when you have people that bet without looking at their cards (happened twice last time).
hate to say this but low level limit is the only form of poker where playing stupid can benefit you (for the short run) |

Push what edges you have. Play strong draws very aggressively. Value bet the river. Lather, rinse, repeat. Collect Sklansky bucks in the short run, real ones in the long.
Oh, and have a good time. Wear glasses if you need them. |

Step 1. Dress appropriately. Hooded sweatshirt (with hood up), sunglasses, FTP or Stars hat, oversized card protector, and Ipod (preferably pink, but white will do).
Step 2. When you get there, order a cocktail. Preferably something hard and straight up. If they let you, order a shot of Bacardi 151 as a chaser. Step 3. Cap it. Every chance you get. It is not optional. It is required (same applies to straddling). Step 4. When you receive a horrendous beat, stand up, tear your cards in half, and toss them in the air, and request a setup. 5. Have fun. |

Re: How to play 2/4 Limit in a Casino?
Seriously, though, cutting your teeth at 2/4 is no easy task, but we have all been there. Just read Small Stakes Hold'em by Sklansky and Miller and grind it out. Then, when you feel comfortable, move to 3/6 or 4/8. Though there is not much difference between 3/6 and 4/8, there is a world of difference between 2/4 and 3/6, especially in Vegas. At around the 6/12 level and higher will be more "real poker" but even then, you will still see lots of chasing and calling.

Dont forget to stare down the BB for a good two or three minutes when it is folded around to you in MP. If you look long enough you'll pick up a tell.
